This unusual watch with automatic winding is presented in a 40mm stainless steel case and makes a vivid impression with its striking, asymmetric design. Four different strap options are offered: a black louisiana alligator leather strap, a link bracelet in stainless steel with fine adjustment mechanism, and two synthetic fabric straps made from recycled fishnets, in grey or dark blue.The graceful face of the PanoMaticLunar is crafted in some 40 seperate work steps by genuine masters of their trade. The galvanic silver dial features applied silver indexes and blued hands. The auxiliary dials for the hour, minute and small second are decorated with a fine, vinyl-type finish. The use of black numerals on a light ground renders the Panorama Date particularly rich in contrasts.The moon disc of this splended moon phase display is also crafted in-house. First, two moons are carefully cut out using a small milling tool, which gives them their domed shape. Next. their surfaces are polished with a diamond-tipped tool, which lends them a unique brilliance. The deep blue of the star-studded night sky, on the other hand, is the result of an elaborate galvanization process.The back of this timepiece is equally impressive thanks to its flawless beauty and offers fascinating views of the manufactory Calibre 90-02. The sapphire crystal case back makes the characteristic features of Glashutte watchmaking easy to recognise: the traditional three-quarter plate, the skeletonized rotor with an elegant Glashutte strip finish, blued screws, polished steel components, and the duplex swan-neck line adjustment.
